Heat pump cleaning

Dust impairs performance. A clean heat pump lasts longer, performs better, and uses less energy.
Heat pump cleaning

Does your heat pump frost up in winter, even when it's not so cold? It consumes more electricity than before and heats less well? The outdoor unit makes more noise and the indoor unit smells funny?

The problem is that your heat pump - outdoor AND indoor unit - needs professional cleaning to restore its original efficiency.

Why do heat pumps get dirty so quickly?

Intensive year-round operation

Unlike an ordinary air conditioner, a heat pump works 12 months a year. It collects the dirt of the four seasons: spring pollen, summer dust, autumn leaves, winter road salt.

Defrost cycle traps contaminants

In winter, your heat pump freezes and thaws several times a day. This process literally imprisons the dirt in the ice, then redeposit it on the coils when it melts.

Double interior/exterior system

Each unit accumulates its own types of contaminants.

  • L'outdoor unit picks up anything that flies outside.

  • L'indoor unit constantly filters the air in your home.
